Feeding & Nutrition

Feeding your baby with confidence

Breast, bottle and first foods — every path to a fed, thriving baby is a good one.

01

Breastfeeding tips

A deep latch is the foundation: wide-open mouth, more areola visible above than below. Comfort matters — pain usually means latch needs adjusting.

02

Bottle feeding & formula

Paced bottle feeding mimics the breast: baby upright, slow flow nipple, pauses every 20–30 seconds.

  • Sterilize bottles for first 3 months
  • Make formula exactly per instructions
  • Hold baby — never prop a bottle
03

Starting solids

Most babies are ready around 6 months when they sit with support, show interest in food and have lost the tongue-thrust reflex. Start with iron-rich foods.

04

First-year nutrition

Milk remains the main calorie source under 12 months. Solids are exploration: textures, flavors, self-feeding skills.
